Graduate Diploma of Environment

The Graduate Diploma of Environment introduces students to core skills and knowledge needed to address environmental challenges. The program provides an introduction to environmental studies for those students coming from non-environment of scientific backgrounds, providing access to Macquarie's wide range of advanced environmental study units.

Key Features

• Upon completion, students will be able to analyse contemporary environmental issues from the perspectives of at least one of the following core subject areas: - environmental science, environmental management, sustainable development, geography, and climate change.

What You'll Study

Part of what makes Macquarie future focused is that we allow you the freedom to explore your interests across a range of areas, rather than lock you in to a single, narrow field. So follow your passions and tailor your course to your needs and interests.

Units

Units are what we call subjects. Most full-time students take four units – each worth a fixed number of credit points – per session.

Entry Requirements

Most postgraduate courses require a successfully completed Australian bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised institution and may also require a specific grade point average (GPA). Our admissions team will determine whether your qualification meets the requirements.
