This program consists of nine CFR aligned courses starting from CEFR A2 to CEFR B2, in a learner-centered, task-based and flipped classroom. Learners participate in speech tasks, which are intended to improve their communication skills. The courses focus on improving learner listening and speaking skills. They listen to a variety of online materials, including conversations, speeches, announcements, debates and negotiations in various contexts, listening for details and main ideas. In class, they engage in dialogues, debates, role-playing and give presentations related to a variety of topics. The topics discussed in class are varied and range from the simple to the complex. Real-life tasks are provided throughout the term in each course of the Oral Communication Program. The classroom environment provides real-time contexts for students to interact in English throughout the thirty hours for each course. Learners obtain a certificate of achievement at the end of every three courses.
