What Makes EtonHouse Newton Special? Pre-school is a huge milestone in a child’s life and parents understandably want to know their children are in good hands. Well, you will be glad to know that this campus in the heart of the city has a strong track record of producing graduates who go on to excel in both international and local schools.
We were the first stand-alone Pre-School in Singapore to receive the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) accreditation*. Today, we continue to set the standards for early education, offering an inquiry-based curriculum for children from 18 months to 6 years of age. It is our mission is to develop confident and capable global citizens. This is why we emphasise a well-rounded education that values personal growth as much as academic success. Similarly, the IB PYP might be academically demanding but it also strives to nurture internationally-minded individuals.
We have introduced ZhongHua Mandarin Immersion that has been popular with our EtonHouse families at Zhong Hua, Robertson Walk, Vanda and Mountbatten 718. Pre-Nursery and Nursery 1 children will get to experience a 100% Mandarin inquiry-based curriculum. ZhongHua Mandarin Immersion aims to cultivate fluency in the Chinese language and increase multicultural awareness. Children will build an understanding, acceptance and respect of other languages and cultures while developing knowledge, appreciation and sensitivity to different cultures.
As one of the few education groups in Singapore with a dedicated research and training arm, our teachers receive ongoing professional development throughout the year, and have access to the resources to continuously improve their curriculum. Come down and visit our school for yourself — there are cosy and thoughtful learning spaces set up to inspire young minds, and a large outdoor area that gives children ample space for sports and cycling on tricycles.

My daughter has been attending Etonhouse Newton since she was 18 months old (she is now 4). Specifically, she was the first batch of children in their Etonhouse Zhonghua Mandarin Immersion Programme. To say she has flourished at Etonhouse would be an understatement - she speaks both languages fluently and can read and count in both languages with ease. The campus is great and the staff members are caring yet disciplined whilst cultivating an immense sense of love of learning in children

My daughter joined Eton house since 18 months old and she spends a good time there! It is her very first experience to study at pre-school and we are happy to have this school’s support to let her adapt to the schooling life smoothly.Special thanks to Ms. Si-Ying & Ms. Ku from her clsss to take care of her along this journey!
