Georgetown Prep is committed to building a collaborative relationship with prospective and current families as they plan for the financial realities associated with their son's high school education. It is our goal to make Georgetown Prep affordable for all accepted students: Prep does not offer academic or athletic scholarships, reserving all aid for those who have a demonstrated financial need. The decision to apply for financial aid has no bearing on the admissions process. Admissions decisions are need blind. About 26% of families receive financial aid; average grant is $19,000. Day student grants range from $5,000 to $35,000, with an average grant between $10,000 and $15,000 in a given year.

Note for separated or divorced parents: In the case of divorced or separated parents, each retains the obligation to contribute to the education of his or her son, regardless of whether a legal agreement to do so exists. In this instance, both parents must complete a required Financial Aid application either jointly or separately. Financial aid grants will be made only after considering the financial resources of both parents. In the case of separated and/or divorced parents, no information will be given by the school to either parent regarding the other parent's financial disclosures. The assets of both parents will be considered before making any award; the assertion that one parent has disclaimed responsibility for educational expenses does not apply.
